- If the hinge becomes loose, you can tighten it yourself. It’s just a simple screw holding the arms together.

Remember when Gossip Girl first started up? Little Jenny Humphrey was so sheltered and innocent…not anymore; she’s taking the Upper East Side by storm these days in her attempt to be the Queen Bee of all Queen Bees. Sometimes when we see her, its difficult to remember that Taylor Momsen is just a precious 16 years old. Not only is she part of the ensemble cast of the CW show Gossip Girl, but she is also the star of her own band The Pretty Reckless. Girl can sing, let me tell you. Her style is her own, she says, but its still hard not to draw parallels between the 90’s version of Courtney Love, especially in this photograph.
Check out that hair! It’s so Courtney Love and so very rocker chic. It looks great and its not too difficult to imitate if you want to try that for your own hair. I actually use my GHD flat iron to get Taylor’s rockin’ look and it work out pretty well if I may say so myself. Most of her hair is straightened, take extra special care on the top from the roots to about halfway down. From there, sometimes its styled into haphazard waves and in some parts its straightened the rest of the way. For the bangs, be sure to curl your GHD flat iron in so the tips fall against your forehead and don’t come straight down.
As for final touches; I’d add a little bit of product to give it that extra bounce. Perhaps rub some moose on your hands and then scrunch of bits of hair with it.
